Step 1: Choose some settings
In generating AI porn, there are lots of levers one can pull on. There is, of course, to begin with, the question of which platform, which engine, to use. I hunted around, and landed on Mage.space. I make no representations as to its relative capabilities or ease of use; I’ll just say that it’s the one on which I settled, and I don’t really remember how/why.
Once I chose Mage.space, I then had to choose a model, and a model version. Just as there are lots of LLM models, most of which are named after South American mammals, but some (GPT) of which are not, so too are there lots of image models. I’m clueless about them, but I gather that “stable diffusion” is pretty much the best of them. And then, within stable diffusion, there are a number of “versions” of the model, pre-trained versions that have been fed specific types of data to make them especially well suited to specific tasks. I’ve done some, but not a lot, experimenting, as well as surfing (looking through the examples of what other people have produced), and settled on, at least for the moment, and without strong conviction, stable diffusion, and the deliberate-v2 model version.
Then, there are three other important levers: dimensions, guidance scale, and steps. “Dimensions” is what it sounds like: it’s basically aspect ratio. “Guidance scale” is something a little more confusing: it boils down to (I think), “How much creativity do you want the model to show relative to your prompt?” Something like what OpenAI calls “temperature” in reference to GPT. And then “Steps” – this seems to be how many iterations the model takes between when it starts implementing your instructions and when it stops. The more, the more detailed/better/longer to produce.
I’ve played with all of them, and am still finding my way a bit. Dimensions has surprising effects on the output, in that it seems to actually affect the content of the outcome more than I might expect.
Anyway – my tendency has been, for the most part, to camp out for long periods of time in one combination of these variable, and then, to play with the prompt. At the moment, I’m sticking with square (1:1), normal guidance scale (7.5), and high steps (50).
Step 2: the initial prompt
Now, it’s time to start playing around with the prompt. For me, this has been a bit of a journey – one that begins in one of two places: either with my own prompt, hatched out of my head, or with one attached to an image I found compelling in the showcase maintained by Mage.space. The former has been, for me, a more productive place to start. As an example, one was, “Sexy flight attendants in their 40s” or something like that. I’ve always liked sexy flight attendants. Jo, for example. When I entered that in, here were the first three images I got:
Step 3: refine the prompt
So that’s a perfectly reasonable start, but my reaction is, basically, “Ew – that third one is ridiculous, and the others seem WAY over-focused on big breasts. Not to mention, I want to see their whole bodies. So I altered it a bit. Let’s try, “Sexy flight attendants in their 40s, small breasts, full body, photorealistic, insanely detailed, 8k.” [I have learned that those last bits seem to make a difference.] Let’s see where that takes us….
Ugh. No. Seems like any mention of “breasts” takes us in the buxom/topless direction. Let’s try again. But with another trick I picked up along the way. Using either “magazine cover” or “movie poster” to create some… constraints. Let’s try, “A movie poster for the film, ‘Sexy flat-chested flight attendants in their 40s.’ Photorealistic, insanely detailed, 8k.” I wonder how that will do….
Interesting! Now I find myself enjoying this. And each image gets my mind whirring. And here’s where the fun starts. It’s not, at all, that I think, “THOSE ARE HOT PICTURES, THEY MAKE MY DICK HARD.” Rather, it’s more like, “Ok, each of those gives me the beginnings of a different fantasy, and that makes my dick – if not hard – at least, twitch a bit.” So, one more refinement: “A movie poster for the film, ‘Sexy flat-chested flight attendants in their 40s.’ Photorealistic, insanely detailed, 8k. The poster should appeal to horny young men, but should remain subtle, suggestive, sensual.”
Hmm. That was a step backward.
And here’s where I start getting ChatGPT involved. Let’s try asking ChatGPT a question:
“You are an expert in AI image generation and prompt engineering. My instinct is to go with #1. The second two, with their focus on “mature,” miss my point, and feel likely to take us into “MILF-land,” a land populated exclusively with women with huge breasts.
The first and the third aren’t terrible, but I want to try some iteration. ChatGPT will help me get this better….

I’m gonna ask ChatGPT for some other ideas: I’m gonna tell it the prompt I’ve been using, and ask for suggestions.
