69: Pro or con?

I haven’t addressed this burning question.

A while back, the Breeder did. He hates 69ing.

And it got me to thinking. At the time, I started a post on the subject, but more pressing matters distracted me, and I never got anywhere on it.

I know you’re dying to know my thoughts on the subject, so here goes:

In general, I’m not a huge fan. When I’m giving head, I like to give head, to focus all my attention on the task at hand. And if someone’s sucking my cock while I’m doing that, it’s a bit… um, distracting.

Similarly, when I’m getting head, it’s almost a meditative experience for me, often. My eyes are shut, my head is back. Or maybe not – maybe it’s less meditative and more, oh, face-fucking. But still. While receiving head, I pretty much like to RECEIVE HEAD.

There’s more to it, of course. One thing that happens often when I’m 69-ing is that I find my orgasm welling up as my partner’s does. This can be fun, or even more than fun. But it also violates my general preference to control when I cum. Honestly, I think this is mostly healthy: when I lose control of my orgasm, that’s a good thing, not a bad thing, but it’s not always what I crave.

Finally, occasionally, when I’m getting head, I want to be able to reciprocate, whether out of discomfort at being the sole focus of attention (this used to be a much more common occurrence) or simply out of generosity.

So I guess the answer is, it’s not my favorite, I prefer the purity of one-way oral, but it sure can be fun, not least because it often leads to a loss of control on my part.
