Aging sucks, but it beats the alternative.

I reflect on my lack of passionate, spontaneous sex and the losses inherent in any particular sexual configuration.

After a year of physical, familial, and domestic disruption, I’m reflecting on my relationship to sexuality, fantasy, aging, AI, and gender in search of renewed creative flow.

I’m experiencing an excruciating radiculopathy. that’s doctor speak for a pain in the neck.

My affair with Serena is flickering out, and the pain has been overwhelming. I’ve kept my thoughts hidden, too raw and vulnerable. Now, I’m torn between rage and terror, emotions that clash with my rational understanding.

Meditating helps. The addict’s mind in the face of pain and loss….

First impressions matter. For a reason.

I’m interested in pain, but don’t particularly enjoy it.

We don’t have a painkiller problem. We have a pain problem.

I’m in pain, with little hope of relief. Ever. And it seems to be producing some intense emotions in me.
