Trump has dampened my libido. What I initially attributed to aging, I now recognize as a response to the horror of the current political moment: it’s hard to summon desire in the middle of a national catastrophe.

We elected him. He is delivering. I’m not especially interested in the pearl-clutching around his latest offense. It. Will. Get. Worse. We voted for it. He will deliver.

The focus should be on why Trump sent a note to Epstein and the meaning of ‘enigmas’ in it, rather than its authenticity.

I like the image. But Trump is no Hitler. Hitler had beliefs. He’s more like Peron, or Pinochet, or Mussolini.

What is to be done?

It’s 1933 in the US. But our Kristallnacht is less than five years off.

Caligula appointed his horse to the senate to humiliate the senators. Trump nominated Matt Gaetz for the same reason.
