It used to be that if you googled “male sex blog,” or “dominant male sex blog,” or “man sex blog,” or “dominant man’s sex blog,” mine would be one of the first three or four entries, and the others would be shit. Somehow, Google has adjusted their algorithm such that I’ve fallen off the top tier of results for these searches. Given what’s out there, this seems like a failing on Google’s part, and I suppose on mine.
The only blog that shows up that’s written by a man is Tall, Dark, and Dominant, which is great, but even harder to navigate than my blog! I’m not sure I understand why this is. I think it might have something to do with the period in which I went dark, or maybe there’s some mechanical issue with the way my blog is configured that’s making Google fail to find it. I don’t know, but it seems wrong.
I’ve scoured the internet, and mine is pretty much the only blog out there by a straight man that has any substantial volume of entries, or any longevity or size, or recency. It seems to me that there are a number of search terms which should produce this blog. Terms like “Dominant Sex Blog,” “Dominant Man,” “Sex Blog,” “Man’s Sex Blog,” “Dominant Man’s Sex Blog,” (this one turns me up, a little too low), “Dom Sex Blog,” and so on. Surely I’m better (or closer to what people searching these terms seek) than anything that actually does turn up.
Surely this blog post won’t solve the problem, but it seems almost comically wrong that the primary way that people land on this blog is by searching something related to the phrase, “I want to lick your pussy.” Not because that’s not a good reason to land people here. That post is a good post, and it’s true. I do want to lick your pussy. (I don’t even turn up on the first page of results there but it’s consistently the search that leads the most people to me.)
But most of the people who enter those particular words are men, and while I have nothing against men and welcome them as readers, my experience has been that this blog really appeals, for the most part, to women.
Maybe I should try writing a post about, “I want you to lick my pussy.” Or, “lick my pussy.” I don’t know. I don’t have good answers to these questions. Only more questions.
