Whereas, I am grateful for Marina. She has subjected herself to all sorts of abuse at my hands; and
Whereas, I am, of course, a piece of work; and
Whereas, she signed up for sexy and hot fun; and
Whereas, I’ve given her – and continue to give her – that, to be sure, in droves; and
Whereas, I also have given her a (n un)healthy (but probably inevitable) dose of my emotional drama; and
Whereas, I’m an emotionally dramatic kinda guy; and
Whereas, she deserves more of the hot, less of the not;
Now therefore let it be resolved:
That henceforth, I will make a deliberate effort to dial down the drama; and
That henceforth, I will make a deliberate effort to dial up the hot; and
That henceforth, I will endeavor to create for Marina – and for me – a sense of safety and security; and
That henceforth, I will endeavor to protect Marina from my crazy, without withholding anything.
