I’m visual. I want to know what you look like. I care what you look like. If I don’t know what you look like, if I don’t like what you look like, I can’t very well get off to you, with you. And I’m picky.

Occasionally, though, I would notice that this wasn’t right, that a woman who seemed in every way to be my type – not just physically, but also in terms of intelligence, wit, interests, etc. – somehow didn’t do it for me.

But why? I didn’t get it. In recent years, I’ve come to understand it a bit better: looks aren’t all that matters in a woman’s superficial manifestation: voice matters too.

Looks exist for me on a spectrum: ranging from super-hot all the way to not hot at all. I have often found myself willing to move – and far – on that spectrum to accommodate a woman who, but for her looks, really turns me on. Said differently, looks rarely turn me off.

Voice is almost the opposite: a woman’s voice rarely turns me on, but man, can it turn me off. Voice, for me, is binary: either yours turns me off or it doesn’t. And if it does, it’s really hard for me to get over that.

(Can’t say I have a clue why this is, but I’ll think about it….)

  One Response to “Voice”

  1. If she moans during orgasm, her voice will definitely turn me on !

Say something! (I just did....)
